The golf industry of today and there products are making a quick development. In the past there where new products launched every 2 or 3 years, now a day it is 3 up to 4 times a year and even more. To keep up with these developments the Society has chosen for a flat and open organization. To achieve this, the Society has chosen for a structure without a Board of Directors, with only an executive director who will be given directions and will be supported by three advisory boards. These three boards contain; an advisory board for members only, an advisory board for managers of chapters and an advisory board containing only persons who are working in the golf industry as manufactures of tools, clubs or golf components. Besides this the executive director will be working close with the members who are involved with: education, quality, innovation and certification. And also research, development and testing of tools. Depending the subject or question there can be called on a working party on temporary base. By choosing this kind of organization “Professional Clubfitters’ Society” can rapidly and adequately participate on each development. Through this the members can be informed fast, adequate and efficient so they can anticipate on the rapid chancing developments in the golf industry.
