Professional Clubfitters Society on it’s way to become nr 1 independent club fitting institute in Europe

 

The Netherlands- Since the founding of PCS (Professional Clubfitters Society) in The Netherlands, the organisation’s goal is to make club fitting a professional and well-respected golf profession. A club fitter makes tailored golf clubs for every kind of golf player, from a high handicapper to a playing pro. A tailored golf set helps to prevent injuries, decreases the handicap with at least 10 % and makes playing golf more comfortable and more fun!

 

 

Professional Clubfitters Society is a non commercial independent  network of professionals in the golf industry with suppliers, club fitters, teaching pro’s, physiotherapists and golf courses. Besides that, the organisation is an education institute for people who want to become club fitters that want to achieve their world wide acknowledged certification. Over the last month more than 30 interested golfers and fitters followed a course club fitting at the workshop and headquarters of Professional Clubfitters Society in Breda, the Netherlands. Since the first of June 2008 Professional Clubfitters Society has more then 150 members from all over the Europe.

 

The courses offer different skills and acknowledged levels. From a starting course to a 4-day course for professional Class A Club fitter with exams. The courses are very well suited for golf-shop owners and employees, teaching pro’s, club fitters or golfers who want to learn more on the practical part of their hobby.

When the Class A courses are successfully completed a club fitter may present himself as Professional Class A Club fitter, a certificate that stands for high skill and knowledge in the golf industry. A golfer who gives his golf clubs to a PCS club fitter knows they will be handled with great precision.

Professional Clubmakers Society Europe is going independent

 

The Netherlands- Since the founding of PCS (Professional Clubmakers Society) Europe, as a subsidiary of PCS US, in July 2007 in The Netherlands last year, the organisation’s goal is to make club fitting a professional and well-respected golf profession in the European golf market.

 

The new members of PCS Europe decided, based on recent information from PCS US, on the 30 of January to continue no longer as a subsidiary of PCS US and will continue under the name “Professional Clubfitters Society”.

 

“Professional Clubfitters Society” is a non commercial independent  network of professionals in the golf industry with suppliers, club fitters, teaching pro’s, physiotherapists and golf courses. Besides that, the organisation is an education institute for people who want to become club fitters that want to achieve their world wide acknowledged certification. Since the first of February 2008 Professional Clubfitters Society has more then 100 members from all over the Europe.

Breda The Netherlands- Since the founding of PCS (professional Clubmakers Society) Europe in July 2007 in The Netherlands as a  subsidiary of PCS US, the organisation is working hard to make club fitting a professional and well-respected profession in the golf industry. No longer do club fitters have to travel to the US or the UK to get a professional education. A club fitter makes customized golf club for every kind of golf player from a high handicapper to a playing pro. A customized golf set helps prevent to injuries decreases the handicap with at least 10 % and makes playing golf more comfortable and more fun!

 

PCS Europe is a network of professionals in the golf industry with, suppliers and club fitters. Besides that the organisation is a education institute for people who want to become club fitters and club fitters who want achieve their world wide acknowledged certification. The courses are given by PCS certified instructor Walther Bouckaert who has gained a lot of experience as official club fitter of the Ladies European Tour ( LET) . The courses are from different skill and knowledge levels. Starting from a one-day course material knowledge to a four-day course professional Class A Club fitter with practical and theoretical exams. The course are very well suited for shop owners and employee’s, teaching pro’s, club fitters of golfers who want to learn more of their favourite hobby. When the Class A courses are successfully ended a club fitter may present himself as Professional Class A Club fitter, a sign of high skill and knowledge in the golf industry. A golfer who gives his golf set in the hand of a PCS Europe club fitter knows it is in good hands and it will be handle with great precision and love for the golf game.
